Guard Mounting Parade. If your Kremlin tour happens to be in Saturday, you can witness a unique and beautiful ceremonial - a parade of marching and mounted guards of the President Regiment. The ceremony takes place on the Sobornaya Square of the Kremlin, on the premises of the Russian President's Main Residence, on Saturdays from April till the end of October. It lasts about 20 minutes. Every last Saturday of the spring and summer period the Guard Mounting Parade takes place on the Red Square with the number of guards doubled.
